The Proms.

Post by J.R. »

Did anyone else watch last night ?

The Stephen Sondheim tribute was out of this world.

I have to admit, I'm no opera lover, but as Jan wanted to watch it last night, I agreed.

A very enjoyable two hours !

Opera!!
Stephen Sondheim does not write opera, he writes musicals, even if Bryn Terfel WAS singing.

I thought it was great.

I personally believe he should be awarded an Honourary Knighthood. He's far more deserving than some people who are awarded 'gongs' for next to nothing.

Incidently, one of Jan's requests is that 'Send In The Clowns' is played at her funeral. Several years away, I hope.
