and from me too, only I don't know how to do the 'whispering' thing!

Frances - it is very easy to whisper! When you are posting in the "Buttons" above the rectangle there is one that says Normal, if you highlight the bit you want, then click on the little arrow you can get different sizes Huge Large Normal Small or tiny
BTW Good Luck Munch, except I am not going to whisper!

Thank you girls! Am spruced up, lippy on, wearing the lucky knickers I wore when somebody last risked employing me, cultivating bright smile (having used teeth whitenener toothpaste) and feverishly checking up on prospective employer online.
Current husband has made strong tea and lashed out on a bar of blood-sugar-raising chocolate.
1600hrs, and I will be reduced to a gibbering, incoherent, confused supplicant.

Well Angela, the suspense is killing me! How did it go and when will you know?

Interviews had been going all day, and I was the last. I don't know if that's good or bad!
Pages and pages for my interviewer to fill in - each question along the lines of "when do you feel you made a difference/ acted beyond your nornal role/handled a diffucult situation/blah blah." For 1 1/2 hours!
I feel medium hopeful, but expect all other applicants felt the same. Oh well.
Thanks for the good luck wishes!
Sorry, back to the Lord Mayor!

Ditto, Angela - everything's crossed for you! ( makes it a bit awkward doing my crochet, but what the hell ...)

Sorry you didn't get the job Angela, but I am sure the Lord Mayor won't hold it against you - he had bigger things to worry about that day, such as horrendous weather and swine flu outbreaks.
