PHOTOGRAPHER IN NEWBURY AREA?

Anything that doesn't fit anywhere else, but that's still CH related.

PHOTOGRAPHER IN NEWBURY AREA?

Post by Foureyes »

Is there an Old Blue living in or near Newbury, Berks, who would be prepared to photograph a grave in a churchyard, please? A digital picture would be preferred but a print would also be very acceptable. If so, I will provide full details of churchyard location, grave to be photographed and church office to be contacted.

This is part of research into an Old Blue who died in World War Two.

Hello - not an old Blue but living v.near Newbury & familiar with most of the graveyards (Family History!) and happy to help - do you want to PM me the details?

Likewise, happy to help if needed, 20 minutes from Newbury (and getting into photography, so you might get some atmospheric shots rather than useful ones!)

Julian,
Many thanks for the offer. Huggermugger has already agreed to take it on, so I am sure it is in safe hands and, by happy chance, she lives very close to the churchyard anyway.
Will you be at OB day?
