Oh Kerren! It just goes to show that you are are a woman of good taste. "Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman" was a rather giggly American small-town-in-the-1860's series in the early Nineties, starring English actress Jane Seymour. I reminded my current husband of this - did he remember it? At once he put on a silly voice saying "She's sleeping peacefully now."
