stings
my dog once trod on a piece of rotten wood in a stream in North Wales, and unleashed a nest of 'wood' wasps......we bolted for the car but they got up inside my jeans, down my neck, up my sleeves.... and I suffered about 40 stings. Fortunately I was not aware of the dangers, and a plentiful supply of whisky when I got back to my holiday cottage saw me through that evening and night, until I woke up in agony the next morning. My landlady was livid that I had not thought to phone her for help! But as you can see, I did live to tell the tale......
