That reminds me of a Hertford story (or should that be an Hertford story?). A sparky and un-named 2nd former on my year decided to ask our very proper form teacher, Miss Champion, what foreskin was, namely to see her reaction, knowing full well what the answer was as Mrs Giacardi had done her Human Biology lessons very thoroughly. The answer given was the skin on one's forehead. Of course.

I'll be heading down to CH on Old Blues Day, and I sent in my registration form a few weeks ago, but I haven't had anything sent back; has anyone else received tickets (or whatever the SAE is for) yet, or is that all still pending?

Also, I see that the CH Association website refers to Evensong, which is presumably after the main part of Old Blues Day finishes (if that's 11am -> 6pm). Does anyone know the times of the evening chapel services nowadays? As I recall, they started at 18:30 and lasted about 45 minutes, but this is a hazy memory from 15 years ago :)

Evensong is scheduled 17:00-18:00 in the draft programme which has not yet been sent out.

rehearsal for combined choir (booking with CHA office essential if you want to sing!) 16:00-16:30. If I find out what we are singing, I will let you know here so that you can be note perfect on the day :) .

Good plan...

I have registered - hopefully Zoe will have got my (very late!) registration today!

How many have registered for OBs' Day as a matter of interest?

Thanks for the help; I received my tickets/timetable through the post today. One interesting thing is that they said they'd be posting a list of attendees on the CHA website (to make it easier to arrange reunions), although you can opt out of that by emailing them.

Getting There

Post by Angela Woodford »

Just in case my getting-there transport plan goes pear-shaped, is the station within walking distance of the school? I've looked at a map, but we know what I'm like with maps!
