A copy is supposed to go on the CHA site.
That's what we were told at the last CHA Board meeting.

Just looked and it ain't there.

Hi all again,

I have been embarrassed into getting back on the forum and seeing what is going on by John listing me as a "significant contributor" in the Old Blue that I finally got round to reading yesterday.

Thanks for the plaudit, John, but I feel perhaps many others must be ahead of me in the queue :yawinkle:

I thought it was you who was supposed to enforce it. As for "taking" does she have the owner's permission?

You and I are of the same era, sejintenej .

I cannot recall which teacher it was, but he would always announce the punishment by saying.......

'Take a Detention !'

I seem to recall it was one of the English teachers.

I rarely had detentions - masters seemed to want to get to the bottom of the problem which was my ass instead.

I publicly got a detention from Kirby because Weeks (from Col A but a year older than me) forgot some book or other again and I was supposed to have checked his bag. In fact though I had to go to the lab it wasn't on the record and no work was done . Weeks never forgot a book again that I am aware of!

The only other time I remember was the caustic soda explosion incident when Potts gave the entire class detention. Being trades monitor at the time there was no way I would be allowed not to be on that duty so I missed the detention despite being at the centre of the rescue efforts and even more guilty than usual .
