Gardeners-Help please
What does one do about worms in a lawn. I use the word lawn very loosely, ours looks like a ploughed field because of all the worm casts. One of you must know a cure- please share it

I've not got any magic instant answer.
However we have bird feeders in our garden and blackbirds and thrushes are attracted too, presumably because they see the other birds landing, and they get stuck into worms.
Not a good idea if cats frequent your garden though.
Didn't "Munch" say she was a gardener? Maybe she could give you a few tips.

Annoying it may be but those worms are actually good for your lawn; they create tunnels conveying oxygen to the grass roots whilch helps the lawn thrive. Otherwise you have to go round making holes with a garden fork every few inches. The casts are digested soil which is finely filtered - good for germinating seeds.
More usefully just brush the lawn occasionally breaking the casts into dust. Do the same to disperse dew each morning (or get your slave to do it) The oldfashioned witch type hazel broom is best for that.

Having more money doesn't make you happier. I have 50 million dollars
but I'm just as happy as when I had 48 million.

Just roll them in. You can alternatively sweep them into the lawn.
You should be very pleased you've got em, according to the gardner in this house, (bless 'er !). Its the sign of a very healthy lawn.
