I thought that was Cornwall - only a few years ago Crawley had the highest employment rate. How are the mighty fallen, eh!

I went to Crawley on Sunday.
It was closed !

I went to Crawley the morning after Mr Plum's wedding, which was also a Sunday, and it was open.
There were about 100 people outside Asda waiting for it to open and most of the shops in the big shopping centre were open.

I actually lived in Crawley for 3 years and my landlord was the landlord of the big pub on the high street so rent day was a blast. I only ever bought the first round and nearly always woke up in his guest room. Sometimes I wish I had never moved away
