Oh not really - we as a year group as a whole did not gell - I know I would have disliked being cooped up in those houses - I was quite happy in Maine A...

I went on a choir trip the Chartres and a CCF trip to Berlin both of which were great experiences where much of the time focussed upon consuming large amounts of booze.

Which branch of the CCF were you in? You got to Berlin and we got a smelly field near the penines! NO Fair!

I didnt go on that trip Soc as i wasnt in the band, most of my friends did. Its a bit hard to try and play the harp and march!!!!

We were fairly split in our year group, there were about 3 definite groups, but we generally all got on. I have to admit though i hated going over to Gre E some of the poeple down that end i found incredibly intimidating. I would alwasy make the person i wanted to see come meet me at front door so didnt have to walk round their on own!

Ah, shucks, blondie

they started to do things after me. The best we got was St Sepulchure's Church in October, an annual trip to Clymping and one year, a tour round Fords at Dagenham. Thinking abiout it, in those days, I wonder how many parents could have even afforded a passport for their son let alone a foreign trip.
Inflation - that's what it is, inflation (and, JR, not that type).
Having more money doesn't make you happier. I have 50 million dollars
but I'm just as happy as when I had 48 million.

well we moved to Horsham the summer before i started year 9 LE at CH and me and borther and sister went to Tandbridge House School in Horsham-An excellent secondary school. Then i chose to come to CH, we spent all our lives with dad teaching in boarding and private schools so fancied trying ti for myself. Brother and Sister went to Collyers 6th form-they didnt fancy being restricted about when they could go out and stuff at almost 18
