and no doubt the gift of Chaucer to teenage boys by inspirational teachers of English at CH is the very reason why we have thus been corrupted by our learning.

I am afraid that the study of the great Bard himself merely re-inforces the mistaken belief that there is humour to be found in ribaldry. Oh what a sorry thing it is to try and follow the lead of the great English poets and dramatists for, try as we might, we can never scale the heights of smut that they so effortlessly achieved.

Actually it was very good - especially when you consider that you're fully clothed AND at work.....

but if I go home home and take all my clothes off I can't post limericks as I have no internet access... I'd have to go to the internet cafe to do that and it's run by Muslims and I'm not sure they'd appreciate it...

My band (as they say) is broad - so you should have no problem getting in.
