I just saw fives being played on telly
Imagine, I turn on the telly and there's some trashy 80s detective show called The Rockford Files, and after about 30 seconds I see this guy playing fives, in Florida!
Not that amazing, I know, but I had to share this with other people who actually know what fives is.
Anyone else seen fives as high profile?

a page about fives.Hendrik wrote:angel, what on earth is that link to?
It was the top one on Google tyhat wasn't 'etonfives' or dominoes.
BTW is this the game that is called Jai Alai in the US, a sort of squash with gloves?
If it is, it is the only human sport on which you can bet outside Nevada.

Yes Mary. (Not sure about the Jai Alai bit.) It was very popular at Horsham when I was there. Far more exhausting than playing squash.englishangel wrote:a page about fives.Hendrik wrote:angel, what on earth is that link to?
