Sad to say the current edition of the Church Times includes the following announcement:
ROBSON. — On 2 February, the Revd John Phillips Robson: Assistant Chaplain of Christ’s Hospital, Horsham (1962-65); Chaplain (1965-80); Senior Chaplain of Wellington College (1980-89); Chaplain to the Royal Victorian Order (1989-2002); the Queen’s Chapel of the Savoy (1989-2002); Chaplain to the Queen (1993-2002); Extra Chaplain to the Queen (2002-2022); to the King since 2022; aged 92.
His funeral took place ten days ago.

Fond memories of Rev' Rob'.
He showed me a good deal of understanding and compassion through an angst time.
I remember his 2 door Lancia Fulvia, as I washed it a few times and it seemed very racy for a chaplain!

Sad to read that "Rev Rob" has passed away. At least he lived to a good age.
I spoke to him when I had some problems and found him very supportive. He was a good man.
