Does CH Take In a Fixed Quota of Ginger Kids Each Year?

Anything that doesn't fit anywhere else, but that's still CH related.

That too, I expect - I meant that it is a theological college!

Josh is active on Facebook and seems to be having a whale of a time at Cliff College. He also has had the same steady girlfriend for at least two years....

....... and I never got into Facebook in the first place. The only time it bothers me is when somebody tells me that they have seen lovely pictures of my grandchildren on Facebook before I have seen them! On the whole Maria is careful to Skype me the relevant link - nice pictures the other day of tobogganing in the snow; also Millie's first day at playschool, with a bag nearly as big as she is.

Wasn't it Barnes Wallis who had a thing for little ginger girls?

Didn't DR write that she'd make sure he got to see and admire the latest Ginger New Girl?

(Now where did I put the copy of HTR that Caroline kindly printed off and bound up for me?)

Um, actually I don't. But there's a lot of stuff I don't remember, and I sometimes wonder whether
  • I was too dim to notice at the time;
    it was too insignificant to pay any attention at the time (which probably applies to Gingitude);
    it was too awful, and I have blanked the memory;
    I have just forgotten.

Don't knock Skype, Neill. Free Skype-to-Skype video calls have enabled me to watch my grandchildren growing up in Finland. It is far more satisfactory than occasional and expensive visits, via nasty noisy airports! Anyway this is totally Off Topic!!

:offtopic:

Don't knock Skype or Facebook, NTN. My niece is recovering from a stroke. We have a Facebook Group to see and support her progress, and we can all do her speaking exercises with her on Skype. Just because YOU have no need of these useful opportunities...

I apologise --- I am still unable to "Text", at speed, using only my right thumb.

I suppose I shouldn't criticise those things, of which I have no knowledge --- but there are so many !!!

You think that you have problems; my fingers are big enough to cover three or four PC keyboard keys - the keys on a mobile are a nightmare. Just don't suggest I cut my fingernails to points :(
