As in, does anyone ever drop out of interviews or anything like that? Do they ever do mid-sixth-form trasfers?

Do not despair. Competition for places is very intense. We receive 4 times as many applicants as there are places. Academic standards are now very very high indeed. The fact that you have not been interviewed, does mean that you are not going to get a place at this school BUT that does not mean you are not a potentially great student. Good luck in what you choose next.

But My experience is not one, which I would hope to be repeated --

St Sepulchres Parish present three boys, by competitive Scholarship

I came FOURTH !!

One of the three -- I know not which -- was killed in the 1940 Blitz.

Number Four -- got in !
