I seem to remember going on quite a few trips, mostly with choir and band though. However, as Matthew, points out, the one not to be missed was Munich and Nuremburg. I think people chose German A-level based purely on that trip. It clashed with a Physics trip to Switzerland but, given the choice between the two, Bavaria won hands down!
I worked over in Germany for a year during uni and went along to meet the Grecians for the dinner on the last night. Fantastic evening. A great loss not to have FRP and Mr Jeffers running the show these days.
"Jeffers Tours" can't be beaten!

I was told that this year`s trip was to be more "cultural/educational" - but, from what I hear, I suspect it wasn`t!!
(well, beer and food are indeed a very important part of Bavarian culture!)
(FRP just met up with the group on the final evening, I believe)

The best way to forget your troubles is to wear tight shoes.

So what is wrong with that? They have decided that they will allow textspeak in GCSE answers now but might deduct 33% becuase 66.67 % is given for the knowledge and 33.33% for how the question is answered. If they can do that the umpteen diferent / difrnt / defrent / different spellings of dufferint should attract high marks.DavebytheSea wrote:like diferent ways of spelling different words like diferent.blondie95 wrote:no way would i become an english teacher i can barely write correctly myself-let alone tell others how to!!!
Nope i will be happy teaching little children all diferent things!
