I gather the rain came down like stair rods and everyone got extremely wet. There was an excellent sermon which proved that Jesus was a black woman (no fair trial and had to get up and work even when dead!) and that the band played even though the drumskins must have got a soaking.
Afterwards Jonathan and a friend visited Fortnum and Masons where his sole expenditure was a present for me - one scorpion encased in chocolate! - before visiting the Tower of London and claiming the ancient right of free entry as bluecoat children.
I understand he marched in the front rank behind the band - any pictures, anyone?

I have a few from the YOB evening in the pub on my phone!DavebytheSea wrote:anyone get any pictures?
I think Ruth Tyrell should have some fine photos on her excellent camera - she said it was so wet that she went and bought another change of clothes!
The evening 'meet up' was fun - I nearly missed my last train back! Oops!
When I got there, I only recognised Ruth -although the place was full of recent OB's - some of which I recognised later on. More people came in whom I recognised!
We had a core group of people who stayed until the pub closed of:
Ruth Tyrell, Marty Elmore, Stuart Abercrombie, Ian Henderson, Kate Atkinson, Olly Harry, Christian Ashby, Tom Meeks and Lucinda Thomson

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.
