Becoming a lawyer

I have recently qualified as a solicitor after 30 years of working in the law. There are now more routes to becoming a solicitor due to changes in the way that the admission process works, so if anyone is looking for tips, I would be happy to help as best I can. Also give a perspective on the legal profession.
