Thank you for that, not that I knew either of the OBs, but my grandfather, also a cleric, retired to the same place, College of St Barnabas, Lingfield. it was good to learn it is still going, as my grandfather died in the 60s

When I arrived at CH in the late Sixties, the Revd George Kendall Allen (Horsham Staff 1906-24), who was then perhaps the oldest living ex-member of Common Room, was known to be living at the College of St Barnabas.
