60 year Reunion

I was disappointed to read that this reunion will be held on 2nd March 2016. With most of the probable attendees being 75 and over a date in May would have been kinder to old bones! Let alone the cost of train fares and hotels from those in the far North! The M6 at the end of Feb can be Arctic.Perhaps the 65 year reunion might be held in May or June
2021.At 83 I think I could manage that although I wonder about the sense in driving by then. John Saunders Th.B 48-55.

Good point. I also would urge a much longer advanced notice. For those of us living overseas it would be nice to have maybe a year's notice of the date. That way we could make plans to include the reunion in a larger vacation package.

I'm sure someone in the CHOBA office will take note of your comments, John.

I would like to attend the 60th year Reunion, but cannot unless it is between 16 and 30 May. Of course my desires cannot predominate. But whenever anyone does know the definitive date, please post it here? Incidentally my only source of information about the Reunion was this thread. How did others learn about it, for it wasn’t mentioned in the Autumn 2015 issue of The Old Blue? (In the companion issue of Housey, the interesting article about the new language centre did not say where it is sited. Can someone mention that location here?)
