I have just watched on iplayer all four episodes of David Starkey's Music and Monarchy. I notice that the credits for episodes two and three include under 'music performed by' the name of William Purefoy. Could this be the young man who was at CH in the late 1980s? I remember the unusual name and the fact that he was 'musical', but would not recognise him by sight. I believe he was also featured some years ago in an episode of Morse, again as a choral singer. Please could someone put me out of my misery and tell me which one was him?!

I seem to recall that Bill left CH in about 1985/86 and was an accomplished musician, but much more than that I can't tell you
