I have just read "The Fall of Anne Boleyn" by Claire Ridgway. Apparently when some of the monasteries were suppressed she wanted their buildings and wealth used for good purposes such as education. Had she carried a son to term, would CH (or similar) have been founded earlier?

Given her demise, I'll refrain from one or two obvious 'one-liners !
