In the March 1952 issue of The Blue there is an interesting item in the report of the above Club when a visiting speaker, a Mr. A.F,Wallis posed the question "By how many routes could a train, which was not allowed to reverse travel from Victoria to C.H.? "
The answer was over one hundred. I assume that the train would have had to have used non electrified lines such as those from Guildford and Horsham to C.H.now of course long since closed. A fascinating question to try and work them out. Are there any Old Blue anoraks out there?
