Times for picking up and dropping off.

Are these flexible at all?
For example, "Leave weekend begins at 2.15pm" I'm presuming that's the earliest time it is acceptable to turn up, but does it have to be that time exactly, or is there a latest generally acceptable time too?
Or when returning them, "Leave weekend ends at 8.30pm" I take that to mean at the latest, what's the earliest?
I'm not talking about emergencies, just traffic/convenience. Is it likely to vary from house to house? If so, apologies for asking here when the housemistress is the person I should probably be asking!

I usually found that I could pick up my son slightly earlier than the time they give for leave weekend. Basically once they have had lunch and got changed/tidied their rooms up they are just waiting to be collected. The time given for return 8.30 is the latest time I think people quite often get there earlier.

I wondered that too, must be quite hectic if everyone tries to collect at 2.15

it`s fairly flexible but may vary from house to house.

Hmm, if I collect at about 2, rather than 2.15, I will feel much more confident about getting back for 3.15 to collect younger son from school

I contacted dd's house parent today - she said that there isn't marching on Friday, and that dd should be free to be collected after lunch - about 1.15 - 1.30 from the house on Friday

If they have to be back in house for 5.30, are they given tea, or should we do that before we drop them off?

5.30? Leave weekends are 8.30, beginning of term 6.30, parents' meetings 5.30. But always feed them - school doesn't apart from toast and tuck (pasta etc if they have it) in House.

Well sending him back at 5.30 might solve the feeding problem, as he could always nip over to Big School and gorge on the nice biscuits laid out for whichever parents' evening is on
