Need to keep the Forum going?
Dear all..
I urge you to look at Julian's posting. It seems that we need to find another £140 or so to keep the Forum going for another year. I already donated last month (it was in my diary to do so.....) and am prepared to give some more. I realise that not everyone can afford to donate but if we are to keep this Forum going, it must SURELY not be down to Julian to foot the bill? He has done a fantastic job in setting up this means of communication, regulating and maintaining it, and I really think that those of us who can afford to do so must contribute to keep it going.
Look at the accounts which he has posted on the 'CH Stuff' part of the Forum, and if you can afford to support this, please do so in the way in which Julian suggests.

I sent a small donation last week. I really appreciate the Unofficial Forum as an invaluable source of information and support (and entertainment!).

Re: Need to keep the Forum going?
Although not a large sum I have today sent a gift via pay-pal in support of this great forum. As time goes by it is doubtful if we will hear from C.H. regarding a place for our son in year nine and at this crucial stage in his education we will reluctantly have to accept that he remains at his present school if we do not hear before September.
I have really enjoyed taking part in Mallets Mallet, reading the different topics and generally feeling part of the group forum but as there is not a heading for Parents - Past, Present, Future and 'ALMOST'. We have decided that it is time to log off permanently to the forum but had to contribute something before we left.
Finally we would like to express our thanks to all who sent us supportive messages via private e mail. We do appreciate what you have said and fully understand that our son is an intelligent and talented boy and agree that his progress so far may be due to his present indie. However we still feel that C.H. would have been the best choice not just educationally but socially.
Bye

Re: Need to keep the Forum going?
If I can sort out access to the forum from home, I will send a donation, but the way things stand at the moment I just can't get reliable access so hardly ever visit these days
(apart from the past few days when I've been away and hence accessing via alternative connections).
