Wd did so much enjoy last year's contributions concerning the wedding to Mrs. Ajarn...

I wished him a Happy Birthday on Facebook, which sends an email if someone does that, and he hasn't responded. Hope he's OK.

Sorry to hear that, Philip. I hope they are looking after you well. I have several friends who have made a very good recovery from lymphoma.

Me too. So sorry to hear about the lymphoma. My younger sister was recently diagnosed with non-Hodgkins mantle cell lymphoma; it seems that the chemo is making her feel infinitely worse than the actual illness - I have heard that this is often the case. Certainly having a positive attitude and lots of emotional support makes a difference - I think you will find that you have both on this forum.

Sir Harcourt Courtly, struck down in his prime by lymphoma? Surely not. Gout, perhaps. But lymphoma?

Please clarify what this Housey spirit thing is. Is it something to do with being over 50, overweight and drunk? If so, do I have it?

(Very best wishes, Phil. I'd long since spotted how long you'd been absent from the Forum and was rather concerned, in a devil-may-care, non-gay way. All the very best. Please don't ask me to apostrophise. )
