60+ years re-union

I have just received the invitation for this, to be held on Wednesday 24th March, and I am looking forward to attending.
It is accompanied by a list of "Sadly Deceased", which I have perused with interest ---- as people of my age do !
Also there is a list of OBs with whom they have lost contact. I was a bit bemused by some of the dates at Ba B, until I realised that they include time in the Prep, but House is shown as Ba B.

We have been asked to bring old CH photos, and I remember posting one on this Forum of Ba B in about 1945.
Now I can't find the original, nor can I find the CH Photographs file on this forum.--- Can we retrieve the copy ?
Also --- perhaps more difficult --- I sent a photo (Original) to the Blue, of the Band, marching through a Bomb-damaged City, in about 1945, with my Parents included, on the Pavement.
I was asked if I wanted the photo returned -- and I replied YES, however this has not happened, and I would find it difficult to upbraid Paddy now !! I think I would like to take it to this occasion as a Memento of CH in the War years
Any joy from present Editors ?

We have been asked whether any of us require Wheelchair assistance ------ I am wondering whether I should take bets on whether I can sprint -- non stop from Barnes B to the Dining Hall at the age of 81 (82 April 3rd)
My advice is ---- Don't bet against it !!

Who else will be there ?

Yes -- I got the Ba B photo as you suggested Englishangel -- thanks.
I was more interested in the press photo of the Band, marching through the flattened City, but I suspect that has now gone.

I'm sure it would attract more attention than a view of a lot of old Fogeys --- Most of whom are probably dead !!

I am anxiously awaiting the publication, by OBHA of the list of those attending ----- all 12 of us ??

I am looking forward to meeting the members of this Forum, who will be there, either as Geriatrics or since they are at the School, in various capacities.
Any Names ? ---- I already have one, whom I REALLY want to meet --- ouside the Dining Hall !! (SHHHH !)

And we were not even allowed to leave it. I vividly remember passing spoonsful of digusting mashed swede under the table to someone who was actually able to eat the stuff.

Is the 'deceased' list available on line? (Thinks - better check to make sure I'm not on it).

I have read (With interest -- and some smugness !) the list of the "Sadly deceased", bu I still don't know if any of my contemporaries will be there. (I note from the ,said, list, that many won't be !!!

Have you noticed that nowadays nobody just dies; they are always 'sadly deceased'!!

One of Winston's greatest critics gave a particularly effusive description of him, and, when asked why he had changed his mind said "Well --- he's dead !"
