They're all pretty unisex I think - even the striped tie I've seen worn casually by a young female old blue...

I have to say I've lost count of the number of times I've heard this observation when we've been discussing merchandise over the last few years. The CHA/CHOBA board has discussed this numerous times, and the female reps on the board have made this observation too - but then when we've discussed it further, there's been a lack of any viable items suggested which others believe would sell!

So, if you have an idea which you're confident other female Old Blues would buy in resonable numbers, and that can be sourced for a sensible price, please do post here and also let Margaret know in the CHOBA office...

We'd love to expand the range and include some more items - but they have to at least break-even in terms of cost, and have to sell well enough to make them worth the setup costs etc.

I don't think I am sufficiently nostalgic to replicate the school underwear or nightwear that we wore 'way back when'!!!

But think of one of the "stand alone" nighties as a stand alone art installation. Turner prize, anyone?

I am not really being fair, I DO have a fuschia coloured polo shirt bought in 1994. It is a bit worn now though, would replace and/or buy a white one.

Weren't 'hoodies' banned from a well known shopping centre as being anti-social ?

I enjoyed looking at the new kit but am somewhat nonplussed by the variance in the sizes of the M between the rugby shirts and the polos and hoodies! What's this? No lardies on the rugby field allowed but Blutos welcomed on the back of ponies and in the boxing ring (then hanging around on street corners later)
