Rediscovering Your Musical CH Memories on Spotify

I'm guessing most of the folks on this here forum must already be aware of the breathtaking Web phenomenon that is Spotify (
http://www.spotify.com/en/products/free/ )
What's really brilliant about Spotify is being able to revisit music you haven't heard even once since you were a teenager at CH, ie the music that the Big Boys used to play on their steeeereos when you were only 13.
Deep Purple's
Made In Japan album, the first few Black Sabbath LPs, Johnny Winter, Led Zep, the Groundhogs, even bands like the Strawbs (and even Rick Wakeman's only credible track, Anne Boleyn on The Six Wives of Henry VIII). Plus of course the J Geils Band, PFM, Focus, Mountain, Uriah Heap.....It's like suddenly meeting old friends who've somehow changed slightly but who nevertheless preserve their main features intact. Amazing how one remembers even tiny details, like drum frills, clever bass moves, shouts from the audience etc.
Too good to be true, so probably it either won't last long or else we'll have to start paying for it, which I wouldn't mind at all.
Wallow in CH-related musical nostalgia tonite. You'll be unable to go to bed. Just one more song....
(Rest assured, I won't be listening to any cack like The Eagles or Genesis. One has to draw a line somewhere.)

This is good news, Amy, and seems then that H2B really has good taste on all fronts!
BTW when are you starting your "Wedding" Topic à la Just a Glimpse like Philip? That is unless you don't want to share
all the excitements and frustrations of the preparations. 5 months to go isn't it?

back to spotify...did you know you can set up a playlist and share it? According to h2b they all at his office have it on pc's and set up central playlist they can all add to and listen too! There have been some 'interesting' choices apparently!

I have just done it and first husband has selected "songs for my funeral" (that's his funeral, not mine)
Going home by Mark Knopfler (the theme from Local Hero)
I saw the light, Todd Rundgren
