Not sure who Dineen is but at least he said something good about CH.

Good question but at least he came down hard on the correct side of the fence even if he was using CH as an exaqmple of what Labour wants to destroy. I liked his penultimate para:
But bursaries are only a last resort. It should not be necessary, in an advanced and allegedly prosperous country, for children to have to be plucked from their own environment to give them a decent start in life. And it is a crime that parents should have to virtually bankrupt themselves to give their children the good education which the state should be providing, or rely on charity from the independent sector.
His comments about firemen also bear repeating:
Firemen themselves are angry at what they call a growing obsession with petty health-and-safety technicalities and political correctness.
Banning white men from recruitment events, as another brigade has done, in order to meet diversity targets is another.
"Lions led by donkeys" was an expression from the First World War. It is not a bad description of fire crews and their politically-correct bosses.
I give the man 10 out of 10 whomever he is.
