Kathleen was Head Girl in 1964-1965 and a bit of a legend I believe.

She read a lesson at the Carol Service last December and there was a sharp intake of breath in awe from Julie sitting next to me. Julie was in her first year when KD was in her last. I can't even remember who was head gilr my first year.

Kathleen was the last Head Girl who stayed on for the whole year after sitting Oxbridge entrance. She was a talented organist, one of a series produced by 3s, Susan Stanley being another. She was someone who had 'presence'. I think you could have picked her out as HG material from a very early age.

Why was she honoured?

Kathleen Duncan

Roy was House Captain of Peele A and one of my School Monitors (1983-1984). great guy and his brother Ian was also at the school. I also remember Roy's Mum working later on in the Counting House. A real CH family based in Warnham I think.
