Suddenly a whole illuminating ray of light is cast over memories of Hertford. Because we had only half a crinkle-cut pat of marge at breakfast + one whole crinkle-cut pat of butter at tea time.

Marty has a 'thing' for Ms Bruce and referring to her has become the running joke.

Dave, the 'lady' holding her child is cj's stepdaughter holding her (cj's) daughter I believe.

And, to make matters worse, THEY (the sadictive they) sometimes mixed the breakfast marge with cod liver oil 'for our benefit'
