It is with sadness i have to report the death of Keith Walker, a pupil of Christs Hospital in the 1960`s.
Help is needed to locate any of his friends from that time.
Funeral arrangements have not been finalised yet, but would probably be week com 16th Oct.

That is sad to read.

As far as I remember he was in Peele A and had a group of friends including Dominic Gwynn, Perry Kitchen and Greg Strange (from Mid A). Maybe one or more of them are to be found in Who's Blue or the Old Blue Directory.

I seem to remember him being a scout when I was so JDS may well be interested in this sad news.

Hope this helps.

I'm very sad to hear the news about Keith. Does anyone have any details? Keith, Dominic Gwynn and I were the last three 11 year olds in Peele A, before the change to Junior and Senior houses. Keith came to CH in September 1964 and left in July 1970. As a London 11 plus entrant he had considerable academic potential but a combination of factors, including the lure of late 60s alternative lifestyles, meant that he left school with this potential unrealised. Nevertheless at school he was a keen Venture Scout, choir member and occasional rock drummer, and after school he pursued his studies with sufficient vigour to become a Legal Executive. Some years ago he moved to Somerset, where he set up his own Legal Executive practice. He met and married Jo, and produced a son, Alex. We stayed in close touch for a number of years after CH but latterly these contacts had become intermittent and we last saw each other at the Peele A reunion 5 years ago. Keith was always gentle, kind, and prepared to go far out of his way to help others. He will be missed.
