Totally agree with you JR, his presenting style is always engaging and his enthusiasm is infectious.
Come on Hammy, we need you back on the screen.

I hope he will be OK - my thoughts are with his wife and young children...
Apparently Clarkson made him smile yesterday when he called him a crap driver!

James May said ''I was chuffed to see him and although he's muttering, he seems much like the irritating little sh1t I know and love''. (BBC)

Couldn't have put it better myself - soc is getting a bit witty these days. Hamster is great (and I like hamsters in general) - let's hope he gets back in the driving seat soon....

The old hammy would get straight back in a rebuilt car and go for the record again...mad sod that he is. I wonder?
Knowing my luck, if I tried I would get a bl**dy speeding ticket!

Apparently he's out of danger and out of IC.
Great news indeed.

I heard a story that he has tried sitting up in hospital.
The mad sod will probably start bed races in the hospital!

Hamster Mammond has got up and walked ableit slowley and staggering to the loo! he asked what had happened and Clarkson told him he had been in a crash - He's in Leeds Inf - so up T'inf for me! Sarah was very worried (although when I told her she was a tad druk "too much vodka Mum" I got!) Fresher's week over - and she has packed her bag ready for lectures on Monday! WOW!!
I imagine that after anotehr 24 hours he will come down to Cheltenham hospital not that it has the neurology department like Leeds - or he might end up in GRH (Gloucester Royal Hospital) as it has a reasonable neuro department... it will mean his family and friends won't have the journey to Leeds -
All I can say is the sooner he recovers the better - and I wish him and his familiy all the best.
