ROCK SCHOOL....... (Update)

I've managed to catch up on the Rock School series over the last few evenings, seeing the episodes I previously missed.

Are there any updates/news from this series ?

I noticed in the last episode that Josh's hair has grown and his voice has broken.

Did the budding romance between Dudders on the drums and the coy blonde lead anywhere, or was it just a brief school romance ?

I saw the clips from the forthcoming series, (Sunday, I believe).

WHAT LANGUAGE FROM SCHOOL PUPILS ! Not C.H. standard at all.

I have it on good authority that nothing ever came of the romance between Dudders and Frances.

Might watch the new one on Sunday - although one critic says it`s not as good as the first series - as if it ever could be!!

Richard & Judy had some of the pupils from the new series on their show yesterday evening.

The word CHAV springs to mind !

I think it is meant to show the contrast between the two schools.

Josh's voice is strange to say the least! Not sure about broken...

I saw the fourth episode of the first series last evening. Is the new series based at CH as well ?
Must admit that it is a better series than I thought it was. I love the language.

The new series is in a state school in Lowestoft...

Chav is indeed a word that springs to mind but they are really pushing the sterotypes and contrasts here...

I haven't seen the new version yet... but saw the advert. Hmmm, I'm just wondering why people would want to watch chavs making fools of themselves yet again :? . We see them on TV enough already! Oh well, if we do watch at least we can laugh.

I watched it. Perhaps the audience are supposed to develop more empathy with the participants as the series progresses.

I don't think they're all chavs, though. Proper chavs don't like 'real' music, just the gormless drivel which is called 'R&B' these days. These kids seem to like guitar-based music, which is OK by me.

I guess you've got a point there...
