Can't drink whisky myself, unfortunately - a slight drinking accident when I was at school.

Yikes, i go away for an hour or so and come back and find you lot have posted 3 pages...

Oh, and Richard, I remember the shop on Tower Hill - only closed down in about 1995 I think when the old dear retired...

I have no problem with red wine, but whisky? Oh no....

A fellow forum member (Rory) suffers from the same affliction, I think.

similar reason as to why I can't go anywhere near Southern Comfort. Just to smell it makes me go green!

Oh dear, red wine and the Grecian's Ball - the housemasters were so worried about meon the last day of term.
Still drink it like it's going out of fashion though.

Well, the red wine was still outside the cricket pavillion on East Big Side the morning after the Grecian's Ball. Pleasant I'm sure!

The night I had the Guinness etc I was made to walk in a straight line by Miss Robinson :lol: Think I must have convinced her as I never got in trouble for it ............. my partner in crime however wasn't nquite so lucky!
