Just PM you....but here's a start...he's a Brigadier now:AKAP wrote:Sport
My house captain was Roger Lane. how do you find those press links to Buster Howes
I think I can see where this is leading! I will now retract my request to become a HOB, I sincerely apologise if I have offended anyone, that was not my intention. I am also sorry that my genuine interest in CH is seen as 'odd'. Is it so strange that a person wants to find out about experiences that he would have liked to have had, given the chance? Is it odd to want to learn about traditions that go back over 400 years? Is it odd that I may in some ways be jealous I suppose, that you were able to attend CH and that all I wanted to do was to open a dialogue with people who were wiling to share some of those experiences with me? I would like to know the difference between 'a strong desire to become associated with the place' and 'taking a deep and understandable interest'.sport! wrote:Richard Ruck wrote:Am I alone in thinking that such a strong desire to become associated with the place (as opposed to taking a deep and understandable interest in it) is a bit, well, odd?
Or am I just being ungenerous?mmm.....careful......shoz wrote:Is everyone on here an ex-pupil or are there any pupils here?

I think all responsible adults are alert to where possible cyber contact with minors could lead and thus you have to forgive our vigilance.

Squits aren't cute. I don't know if they ever were, but nowadays (ok, a few years ago) they realised that older people couldn't do anything anymore after the SMT got all righteous, and there was almost no way in hell you could stop them from misbehaving (except for independent disciplinary action *ahem*).englishangel wrote:Just thinking of a cute little 11 year old Housey boy with his socks round his ankles like Nora Batty thinking that Howes meant House Captain.
