Concept of the rule appears valid - 25 degrees is certainly not, but perhaps that is because he is an Aussie? Probably 18 degrees of so would be better.
We didn't have '3 days' just if it was expected to be hot (or it was hot in the morning) half housey was announced at Lunch Grace for the rest of the day, and I think was standard after half term in the summer

Just curious as I saw that you enjoy sprinting and I was in squad at CH in 80s but we ran on the cider track behind back
avenue (now a car park). Difficult to break under 11 though. Were you also then the winger in FirstXV?

As I have said before here on Forum, it was the Senior Grecian who gave green light for half housey and as Craig was there during my time as SG, he would have had the go from me via lunch and yes after half term half housey was the norm...

Ironically no!
There were people who were faster than me and also in athletics squad... In truth though, I was a musician at CH, and chose that over sport. I participated in anything that was for my house (PeA) but otherwise chose to stick with music! Else there would have been too much going on in my life.... especially in the last 3 years or so...!
Sometimes I wish i had done sport over music....

Definitely harder when you were half cut

I find that a bit sill to have to do 25 degree for threee days in fully housey before you can go to half housey. This is tougher on the boys as they are stuck in housey for all three temrs, the girls get to go into the short jacket in summer so 25 degrees in that is not so bad

Nice work Shane. You're clearly keeping well informed as to the happenings at CH.
I hope the pupils don't all die of heat or form a mass rebellion before some changes are made regarding the running of the school!

Well that will not exactly help your casue, there are several Common Room members posting on here. Stooping to personal insult will always lose you your credibility and probably the argument.

I have no idea if your petition is right or wrong, but I can agree with you that no one should be mocked for standing up for what they think is right.
My only advice is: be very wary of rumour and the motives of those who spread them.
