Re New Dep Thread
When browsing I was very sorry to see that "Blondie" was not going to CH "Because of "Full Fees "
I am depressed that this has entered the School, I thought that the whole essence of CH was to give EVERYBODY who was "Bright enough" a chance in Life. regardless of Background, Race, or Financial Circumstances.
I regret the decision to abolish the "Glass Ceiling" of parent's income. We are --- or were , a Charitable Institution. Read again, the Foundation, by Eddie V1
Am I the only one, or are there other Old, Old, Blues, who feel the same ? :( :(

I am with you on this Neill. We knew that some people were better off than others, just as some were cleverer than others, and neither made any difference. You either got on with life and other people, or you didn't.

I found the physics really difficult, and it would have cost a lot [full fees] which would be too much for my parents to give up anyway. I just suddenly thought that CH was not the school for me.
I don't think I'll be posting anymore [no need] so you get to do without my silly questions and repetition.
Thanks for the help :)
Bye
Im very sorry to hear that, you were very enthusiastic towards the oppountunity. Im sure you have put lots of thought into your decision and I wish you luck in whatever you do and totally forget about us!
I think I'm going to an open-access school in Bath [almost like the Horsham to my Crawley? With a bigger distance between them] which will mean getting up at 6:30 and then on a few different buses till 9... it's been graded outstanding in Ofsted and it does a really great vocational course that I wasn't allowed to do at GCSE so that's ok... Oldfield it's called.
Thanks for the luck, I doubt I'll forget the help! Within a few days of my post I got my first note of support, smiled for hours!
