Haven't you already done that? If you received a copy of The Old Blue then you must have done....

well they are only deep when he is having the other arm being twisted by Mum to cough up money! Behind every great man is an even greater women-according to me, mum and just about most females out there!

I understand that the Blue is going to print very shortly. Although the students probably won't get their copies until the end of term, I believe those who have ordered directly from the CHA will receive theirs rather sooner. I suppose it depends on whether the printers' deadline has been met.

I received my (advanced) copy of the Blue from the publisher on Saturday. I understand that it is now available at the school and has been well received. The music disc that accompanies it is excellent and well recorded and I think the whole package is well worth a tenner.
I understand that if you did not manage to order your copy by the given date, there are available just 50 copies for a further distribution. All profits (if any) from the sale of the Blue go to the CHA who may be contacted on 01403 247665 should you wish to order a copy.
If the OB section lacks the gravitas afforded by previous editors, I apologise. The fault is mine and not John's who kindly entrusted me with this part and gave me guidance only when asked. My brief from Ian Stannard was, that given that the Old Blue is written for Old Blues and contains all necessary and relevant material for that readership, so I should concentrate on a readership of current Blues. Hopefully this will instil an understanding that the CHA is not just for old farts like me, but for those leaving Housie and becoming members of the Old Blue community through the CHA. There will be those that think I have trivialised the Old Blue community; to them, I apologise.
