JR you are very good at finding the word that for some reason triggers you off into the land of less mannerly fashions!

Today here in Glos it has been very warm again- bright sunshine, no breeze, so I guess I will be under sheet and nu-nu again tonight - 3 nights in a row of a FULL NIGHTS SLEEP!! I'm up ready and almost full of energy (some actually may say too full!!)

my problem now is what to pack to go sailing with DBTS - Have re-packed twice.... first with all the wet and cold gear, now with more light summer gear (and wet stuff)... I can see that we are going to arrive with a host of clothes on each of us, just in case it's cold, wet, warm or hot! and look like michilen people!!

shall I repack again?????? nah!! too hot!!

For poor JR
we have gone far
and stopped him making comments
although often rude (espesh if ur a prude)
we should give him a moment!

He likes to find words that bind
our stories out of kilter
and so it seems
with certain themes
he needs a sort of filter

Is that better??

Blimey JR - now I am getting worried - are you all right? is the heat getting to you?? It's back to sun sun and sun here in Glos, and the heat is pretty high, not to mention the UV and pollen counts! Time to get into the freezer I think!

The 'ar's' were usually accompanied by many 'oooh's' as well, Jude.

Anyway, I thought you were off riding the waves with Dave this weekend ?

Nope - we hit the tarmac to Cormwall after Sarah's last 2 A levels both Chemistry on Monday, so hopefully will be down South by 4pmsih...then after a bite onto boat and then out to see the sea... back next Friday I think - al hit and miss this end - Sarah is exhausted by the heat and having had 4 out of 5 days of exams (all in hot rooms and all sciences) and I have got cunjuntivitus in my l eye for no reason - probably all that sleep!!! Am treating it now, so will be back into lenses on Monday evening at latest! Can't sail in glasses! Have to wear my contacts!!! (only so I can wear my oh so expensive pair of sunglasses - £3 from Trashco's! - then I won't cry if they fall overboard!)

lovely day here, just no breeze.. how's it up your way???

Without wishing to belittle England's little heatwave, out here in Iraq at the moment it is 48 - 51 C every day. We do understand how it must be in the UK though.... it does drop to 35 degrees at night! We have BFBS TV out here including Sky News. I won't write here the average soldier's comment to the enivitable heatwave news stories....
