A kid at her school who had emigrated from England had to stay in after school to learn to speak English! I had to teach her to speak English; she no longer "goes by her friend".

I suppose if you hear it all the time you might not notice it after a while. But the South-African accent is one I can never forget, my father-in-law's new wife is from there but she is more Zulu.

Every time she gets mad, I start looking for an isijula to come out
