Also as it is the BADGE OF CH it may and is permitted to go on show - just as the BADGE of any school, club, union, etc.... For heaven sake there are enough crosses to scare a jew in this country!
It is all to do with moderation - I don't have a problem - if you do it's
YOUR problem not anyone elses.....

Yes, with the Tudor Roses (for Edward VI) along the top

One Tudor Rose and One Fluer de lys, the sword is the only difference in the red cross on white background that actually denotes London - the rest of the flag shows it is English not French, welsh etc......
Where did you all go to school??? This was bashed into my mind when I was a 1st former!!!

Come, come Jude, we don't have a Lion but a Dragon. I can't see any of the Welsh flag in the Union Jack, so it is not just the Cornish with a gripe over that.

As regards Wales, it notes that:
"Wales had no explicit recognition in the flag because Wales had been annexed by Edward I of England in 1282, and since the Laws in Wales Acts 1535-1542 was legally part of the Kingdom of England. (The present-day Flag of Wales and St David's Cross are both 20th century inventions, the former based on a Royal badge and the latter on the arms of the Diocese of Saint David's.)"
Under trivia, it provides the following:
Trivia
- It is a criminal offence to fly the union jack from a civilian boat
- As it is a royal flag, it was abolished by Oliver Cromwell in 1649, before being restored, along with the monarchy, in 1660

The cross of St Piran. I wonder if it should be displayed on Speech Day for the benefit of the Lord Mayor - himself a Cornishman ....... ???

Surely it's an offence to fly the Union Flag (not Jack!)

Right click on the image you want, select "properties" and copy the URL.
When you come to post here, click the "Img" box at the top - this will display
img in square brackets, then paste the URL, then click the "Img" box again.
Preview to check that it's worked OK, then submit.

Incidently, and just for the record Hendrik, I am NOT a racist !
Look at the size of the UK, then compare with other European countries, then do a comparison per head on immigration.
Mr Reid had it just about right at the Committee hearing the other day when he called our Home Office, 'Inept'.
