well yes but he is half english/half scottish. At the end of a grecian lecture my dad spoke about something, thing is i was not paying attention and didnt realise it was dad talking and i though gosh who is that with the scottish accent, looked up and he presto my dad was standing there i was shocked. I had never heard the socttishness before

I can't pick up my wife's accent but other people seem to pick it up immediately. It is simply that I am used to it.
With all the hairybacks invading I hear other South African accents all the time.
