You seemed perfectly OK when I saw you.

However, you must have had a few if you thought The Crown was a good idea.......!

At least The Malt Shovel should have restored your faith in Horsham's pubs.

Where did you meet the bloke with the lipstick? You weren't in Piries, by any chance?
I was waiting to cross the road but too draped over my friend (Richard did you see him, one with the blond hair, lovely but too young for me!?) to see where I was... lucky he knew how to get to the station... but we weren't in Piries...

I only asked because there are very few blokes in Horsham who are likely to sport a bit of lippy.

One would be Glen(da), who works in Piries. He's quite tall, extremely thin and not at all butch!

Likes to dress up as Heidi from time to time, and is a very entertaining person.

well we kind of have to now you've said it...

the guy was with a couple of girls and one of them was also wearing the same lipstick... so I think he was wearing it for a laugh rather than as a usual occurence

that's what I thought

going to have to go soon in order to get down to Horsh for beer

it's amazing how Horsham seems to be where it's happening, nothing that exciting ever happens in London

I wonder why

ooh, didn't believe it...

went down to Welton's brewery, met up with RR and guess what? not only was entry to the brewery free, all the beer was free too!! and the bread and cheese.

So we like Ray Welton now. It was an excellent evening and of course there were lots of people there I knew. P*ss-up in a brewery! Ha!

I will make comment on the beers though:

Horsham Old (4.5%): pleasant and drinkable but flavourless
Bitter (?%): weak dishwatery beer (but maybe that's after drinking the Old)
Porter (8.1%): strong but no flavour to back up the alocohol
