You're so chic! Mine usually stays on all summer, so has to be a shade to match everything. When I got married I painted my nails in a beautiful colour which changed in the light - that was
purple/
bronze/
green. My mother was aghast that I wasn't going for the pale and neutral. But then I did wear
red shoes too. I don't really do demure!

Isn't there an old adage that starts,
"Red Shoes......." ?

It had to be you, JR. What a fool I am in thinking that it could have gone un-noticed. You may well find that big support pants are the order of the day for weddings to keep everything in place and smooth under the dress. At least until the photos are done! Anyway, the shoes were dark red velvet with embroidered flowers on them. Completely wrong for a
scarlet woman.

Also, fur coat, no ...... Would that still count today with fake fur?
Anyone else get married in shoes that weren't trad white/cream? An OB friend of mine married in a
red dress AND
red shoes (and looked stunning). I love red shoes, or in fact any colour of shoes. I think it's because of the long, dreary years of black school shoes.
Back to the thread ... my toe has now turned black with a funny pale patch in the middle. I did return to the scene of the crime, as much to get some shopping as to banish the psychological trauma that may have been lurking within. Was fine, if you're concerned!!

My ex-husband believed that it was
Big hat, no ..........................
What with red shoes and fur coats it's a wonder that M&S didn't go out of business.

I got married in October, forgot all summer to get white shoes - ended up with grey ones as they went with my "goining away" outfit - they do look stupid in the photo - me with blonde hair (again) white dress, veil (white and tiara - and then GREY SHOES! - ho hum everything was done on a shoe string (no pun intended) and I don't care anymore -
did have St George flags on my toe nails - but after the disaterous defeat yesterday of the English team will go and remove what is left!

Midget - only certain times can I - if I haven't eaten for a few days - whlst on hol in Cornwall the water and I didn't agree much - so I have lost a few pounds - but my hips and back scream for every toenail I cut! It is getting to the point of needing someone to cut them for me - however it seems to be the only area my daughter is squeamish about - feet. Huh!
