It`s not just Matt`s Dad - there are several OBs teaching at CH - although I think most were teaching elsewhere first!!! Some sort of magnetism perhaps??Richard Ruck wrote:Probably......Great Plum wrote:Richard's got a point - Horsham is actually a great place to live for some...
Is Reigate too close?
Spoonbill's probably imagining some sort of 'exclusion zone', inside which it's not suitable for Old Blues to live.
You'd better have a word with your father, too. He must be pretty high up in Spoony's pantheon of 'sad people'.
I think that's always been the case - there were certainly some Old Blues on the staff when I was there.Mrs C. wrote: It`s not just Matt`s Dad - there are several OBs teaching at CH - although I think most were teaching elsewhere first!!! Some sort of magnetism perhaps??
You could always PM Julian for a check on ISP's. (It won't get you anywhere, though. I'm sticking to the 'Moderator' conspiracy !)Richard Ruck wrote:englishangel wrote:and 'Jack' though the library will be closed now until Tuesday.Richard Ruck wrote: Just waiting for 'Bingo' to put in an appearance now....![]()

Let's face it, there are a lot worse places in which to live and teach.....(at least, I would imagine so).
CME Seaman and AP Waller (maths teacher) are two other Old Blue teachers from my time. Dr Hoskin's predecessor, Dr Scott, was also an Old Blue.Richard Ruck wrote:My first housemaster, Roger Martin, was an Old Blue, as was the school doctor, Hoskins, and a few others besides....
Coming in for my first post, had Joy Holmes left before you came? She taught Maths. She had been 10 years at the school, Head Girl in her time. I only had her in the Sixth Form soon after I left she upped sticks and went to Nigeria.englishangel wrote:My English teacher was an OB but I think she was the only one at Hertford when I was there.
