My DD is very, very excited to be seeing Team GB tomorrow and I must admit to being a wee bit jealous - what an amazing experience for the kids!

Only a little bit jealous! I wanted to wrestle the tickets off my son.Fairy wrote:My DD is very, very excited to be seeing Team GB tomorrow and I must admit to being a wee bit jealous - what an amazing experience for the kids!
I fully agree and consider that the paralympics should be very closely linked to the earlier olympics with an opening ceremony as far as possible similar with the same pomp and ceremony and same person starting them (FWIW I don't know if HM will open them and hope the senior Royal Family will attend as openly as they did at the past olympic games)CHDad wrote:Well the tickets are nearly sold out so fingers crossed they will. I thought it was a great shame that the olympic torch could not be kept burning until the paralympics was over. This may not be the way it has been done in the past but GB could have tried to change that.
