I read that as a Green Goddess and we know that they get ridden by soldiers and spout water. What an insult to Maggie; she spouts at least a bit of sense.

Oh dear. What is this "soldiers and spout water"? Am I missing something? I'm sure Maggie is the most estimable and sensible woman!!!!
