Incidently - I have NOTHING to hide !
Oh dear - I'm showing my age again - I've only seen 1 Monty Python film - the Life of Brian - with the Killer bunny in it.....

As for you hiding nothing - or having nothing to hide, I didn't mean to upset you...

If my spelling is all up the creek it's coz my contacts are playing up - and I can't see properly! and being a miserable and miserly person refuyse to open a new pack until the end of the month when I'm supposed to, and can't be bothered to take these ones out and then put on my glasses, as It's sunny here and my glasses don't go dark, butI have sunglasses for weraing when Im wearing my contacts....

I think I'll go back to bed!

Jude, either you've seen " Life of Brian" with BigNose and the People's Front of Judea , or you've seen " The Holy Grail" with the Killer Rabbit, and the Knights Who Say Nee!" - which is it ?

Monty Python's Flying Circus was on still on television in the 70's, I think - you must have seen some of it ! ( or are RR and I older than we think?)

"Romanes eunt domus"

"Some people called 'Romanes' they go the 'ouse?"......

Took me right back to latin lessons (although I was never threatened with a sword for misuse of the dative).

I bought son a lovely latin phrase book, when he finished his GCSEs, full of things like " have you seen my new Rolex" , " it's your round" , " sod off" and other highly useful social phrases - he loved it !

I did reply to this yesterday but my pc froze and crashed so I will try to remember what it was I wrote... Sadly i have a bit of a "dip" in my memory - which is great for me as I can watch films etc that were on during 2001-2003 and not remember them - this period was when I was quite illl, hence the memory dip - bits that I can remember are a Killer bunny.... (but I can't remember how they got passed it ) and Brian being a bit of a wimp.. I may well have seen all the Monty Python films, but as they played in the 70's I doubt it - we didn't have a tv at home, and when we got one I wasn't allowed to watch it... and as a junior in 5's we weren't allowed to watch tv until about 3rd year in matrons office which had a phone in it (I'm sure ours was green)

so with these holes in my recent memory it makes interesting 2nd time around films that everyone else has seen, and apparently I have too, just I don't remember them!

However, son is a massive fan of Asterix the Gaul, and I remember lots from that - does that count (there is lots of fake latin in it too!)

Husband bought the News of the Screws on Sunday as Up Pompeii was the free DVD.

He did hide it in an Ann Summers carrier bag.
